Sarah Hauser over at The Homemade Haus came up with a fantastic recipe for her take on the classic white russian. It’s the perfect drink to enjoy while you’re curled up by the fireplace enjoying the lull after a raucous holiday gift opening session.
Variation on a White Russian
2 ounces vodka
3/4 ounce FreshGround coffee liquor
1/2 ounce Cointreau
1/2-1 ounce cream (optional)
Put a large ice cube in a glass and add the vodka, coffee liquor, and Cointreau. Stir well. Add cream if desired and stir until everything mixes well. Serve and enjoy!
